On August 4th, The Seven Holy Youths of Ephesus were martyred during the reign of the Roman Emperor Decius (249-251) when he ordered them to be buried alive in a cave on Mount Ochlon in Ephesus as a result of their refusal to worship the pagan gods of the empire.
